On February 29, I participated in the Mobile Dev Day event in the Dominican Republic. It’s the first edition of this event thta took place in Monte Plata, where more than 100 students/professionals attended.
Mobile Dev Day was born from the idea of promoting relevant technologies to younger people in the area of software development that live in less favored provinces of the Dominican Republic. It is a non-profit event, focused on mobile technologies, whose north is to help create professionals and workplaces in places where technology does not proliferate.
In this event I participated as co-organizer and speaker, giving a talk about Cross-platform development using Xamarin.
